As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee, direct and lead the production staff to achieve production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient operation and producing products to meet AHEAD's established quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee all departmental activities and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Effectively drive continuous and quality related improvements.
• Actively engage in project management responsibilities and support a wide range of production group projects.
• Resolve employee issues, ensure positive employee relations and promote and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently.
• Analyze and solve problems or assist other team members in finding solutions.
• Reviews production schedules, material and manpower resources and coordinates daily production activities in order to meet business objectives.
• Informs assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedules.
• Responsible for achievement of department goals and standards.
• Develops and maintains positive employee relations within the guidelines of company policies.
• Direct efforts toward the reduction of process variation while ensuring that manufactured products meet quality requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on projects, resolving issues and improving processes

Education and Experience

• Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent or 3-5 years in an assembly manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage, train and develop employees.
• Ability to resolve conflicts, meet deadlines, manage production activities and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience making day to day decisions that affect the overall quality of products and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: 1 2 years of experience in a supervisor role

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.

$70,000 - $80,000 a year

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings ("OTE") for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
