Personal Banker II - Woodward-Hamilton The Personal Banker II position will provide an exceptional customer experience by building and maintaining long‑lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers. The banker will offer solutions that span across the customer’s lifecycle using our consultative sales and service process. Candidates will be responsible for risk by identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks while ensuring that actions reflect the Bank’s ethical standards and positive customer experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create a memorable customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships in an assigned book of business through proactive outreach in person, over the phone, or other appropriate channels. Use a consultative approach with current or prospective customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations, solutions, and advice. Maintain a working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure customer needs are met and problems are resolved. Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs. Provide customer support needed, reinforcing the value of current and new technology. Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling the ethical behavior expected from every employee. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of customer service experience, or a college degree, or equivalent military experience. Experience in a sales environment required; experience in the financial industry a plus. Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with both new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships. Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication. Capability to analyze credit and financial information. Business acumen and sound decision‑making skills. Position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). The NMLS website provides the MU4R questions and required registration for employment. Working Conditions Normal office environment. Extended viewing of computer screens. Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint to attend meetings and/or training. Compensation & Benefits The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business, and/or individual performance.
