You will be responsible for strategic planning, process improvement, and managing high-value logistics activities to support organizational objectives.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.**Responsibilities:*** Lead and manage complex logistics projects, including preparation, documentation, and routing of materials.* Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to optimize efficiency and compliance.* Analyze and maintain records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.* Oversee and improve the allocation and organization of storage facilities for logistics materials.* Ensure strict compliance with import/export requirements.* Coordinate with senior internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.* Mentor and provide leadership to Logistics Specialist I and II.**Qualifications You Must Have:*** High school diploma or GED equivalent.* 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.* Advanced knowledge of state, federal, and global regulations related to logistics.* Microsoft Word and Excel skills.* Understanding and experience with the practical application of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.* Progressive experience with inventory databases.**Qualifications We Prefer:*** Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.* Expert proficiency in logistics software and tools.* Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems.* HazMat Training/Certification.* Ability to operate a forklift.* Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS.* Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record.* Understanding of shelf life.* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.**Essential Functions:*** Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.* Ability to work on your feet for a majority of the work shift.* Ability to work in a loud environment.* Ability to travel as needed.* Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.Estimated Starting Salary Range: $29.03 - $39.92. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
