Cabling and POS Technician - OvationCXM Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States About this position Join OvationCXM, a leading Customer Experience Management company, to support locally owned businesses by installing and troubleshooting in‑store technology such as point‑of‑sale devices and network equipment. This is an ongoing part‑time contract role with flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay. Key Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace low‑voltage cabling for point‑of‑sale systems and wireless printers. Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Provide clients with clear, layman explanations of technical solutions and educate them on best practices. Maintain accurate job reports and uphold OvationCXM’s high client‑rating standards. Enjoy solving network puzzles and sharing simplified solutions. Independent worker interested in building a personal client base. Qualifications Daytime, weekday availability. At least 2 years of field experience, valid state‑issued driver’s license, and insurance. Reliable transportation with basic low‑voltage tools (Cat5 cable, cable tester, punch‑down tool, ladder, etc.). Android or iPhone mobile device with 4G and laptop computer. Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing low‑voltage cabling for POS systems and networked wireless printers. Knowledge of hard‑wired and wireless devices: routers, switches, firewalls, access points. Excellent communication skills to translate technology issues into plain language. Kind and polite attitude with willingness to go the extra mile. Passion for making customers happy. Preferred Experience Military veteran with networking background.
