Sr. Program/Project Manager With Business Analyst (Banking Domain)Location: Jersey City NJ (Web Cam Interview) Duration: Long Term (W2) H1 Transfer/ GC/ CitizenWe are looking for a PM/BA with client regulatory knowledge and experience. The person should have worked and managed single projects spanning multiple applications from electronic/trade capture to booking all the way to regulatory reporting and settlements and also be technical to a level understanding the architecture of a scalable and distributed software system.Software development is performed in London, Paris, Mumbai, Chennai and New York. The person will be working with multiple different size teams of software developers and business analysts across all locations.Ownership and Scope: Take ownership of projects and other mission critical assignments. Perform role of Project Manager and Business Analyst for Global Markets initiatives. Stay abreast of intricacies within bank's workflows & infrastructure across Global Markets. Provide subject matter expertise on Fixed Income Securities and regulatory workflows.Collaboration: Interface with Front office, Operations, IT, other functions and subject matter experts within the bank to understand & document business requirements. Analysis - Perform analysis, define specifications and design for the assignments. Be responsible for end-to-end implementation of functionality on the Fixed Income IT applications. Documentation - Create business user requirements documents, functional specs & test scripts. Workflow management - Manage tasks in Jira and contribute to running IT prioritization meetings with development team and business users. Testing and UAT - Perform & coordinate integration, regression & UAT testing. Run workshops/demo and arrange UAT for the stakeholders for the projects working and follow up on the action points. Reporting - Communicate & present solutions and risks to Business & ITO management. Provide effective and transparent reporting on all tasks and issues to management. Regulatory - Ensuring adherence to all relevant compliance and regulatory policies. Conduct-Mentor & share knowledge with team on topics to broaden the expertise and reduce the dependency. Present a comprehensive commitment to quality, with timely & functional deliveries. Show accountability and Commitment to continuous improvement. Embody a proactive, positive attitude and portray team spirit and collaboration across teams.Minimum Required Qualifications Skills:At least 7 years of full-time work experience.Experienced program/project manager and business analyst with in-depth knowledge of the financial markets including but not limited to (trade settlement, financial regulation, and compliance to market operations and business process improvement)Previous experience of front-office development projects and support.Very good understanding of Fixed Income productsGood knowledge of MS-SQL (in SSMS), XML and FIX messaging.Competencies:Excellent project management skillsExcellent time managementCommunication – able to work with trading desks, business managers and IT teamsAnalytical minded – the mathematical ability to learn and explain complex quantitative concepts quicklyGood Understanding of technology, ideally have experience as Developer or Analyst in technology.Very good presentation, communication and writing skillsTeam-working skillsAble to work under pressureProficient in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:4+ years of full-time work experience within Fixed IncomeCandidates with proven experience should also have had good exposure to Derivatives, ideally in a front-office facing role, and an in-depth understanding of the business.Knowledge of Client regulatory workflow is very desirableManaged major global banks' compliance with Client and CFTC regulations, Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, and MAR, including listed and OTC derivatives.
