Member Services Representative

Member Services Representative System One is seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team in Pasadena, CA for a contract to hire opportunity. Responsibilities Serve as primary point of contact for members and visitors, maintaining a personable, outgoing, and professional demeanor. Accurately convey information regarding Credit Union products and services. Respond to member account inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently. Cross-sell or refer products and services based on needs identification. Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all members' records. Open and close the branch as scheduled, ensuring security protocols are followed. Greet and welcome members and visitors professionally. Process transactions accurately and efficiently. Log visitors in the Visitor Log and manage visitor ID badges when applicable. Assist with account maintenance including issuing cards, account changes, disputes, wires, and IRA transactions. Process loans according to current lending policies, set up and disburse approved loans, and complete related tasks. Maintain organized member lobby and technology areas, updating marketing materials as needed. Perform teller duties and, if applicable, manage safe deposit boxes, providing access and maintaining proper records. Educate members on self-service and 24-hour technology channels, processing check orders and PIN changes. Comply with federal regulations, credit union policies, and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act requirements. Perform notary services and basic account maintenance as needed. Carry out additional duties as assigned to support branch operations. Requirements High school graduate. Experience in financial services with a proven record of delivering excellent service. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Notary Public certification. Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
