Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000-$75,000 base salary , depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Support daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent execution and high culinary standards
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, recipes, and food preparation
• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen team members
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and organization
• Assist with ordering, inventory management, prep planning, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Help maintain efficient kitchen systems and consistent execution during service
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable kitchen culture
• Uphold a guest-first philosophy and contribute to an exceptional dining experience
• Support new restaurant openings and help implement kitchen standards as the group grows

What We're Looking For

• Previous Sous Chef or strong kitchen leadership experience in an independent, chef-driven, or quality-focused restaurant
• A solid culinary foundation and passion for hospitality
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate back-of-house team members
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to grow with an expanding restaurant group
• ServSafe certification required or willingness to obtain
