RN - ICU

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 36 hours/week, every third weekend. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the MICU, monitoring vital signs and administering medications. Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and patient progress. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and effective patient care environment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license in the state of practice. Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Experience in an intensive care setting preferred. Completion of health requirements including COVID-19 vaccination, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and 2 Step PPD or IGRA.
