Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Assist in the operation of stone processing plants, including start‐up, shut‐down, and overall plant operation.* Inspect, monitor, and operate conveyors, screens, and crushers; identify and report operating issues and oversized stone.* Perform routine maintenance, including minor repairs, adjustments, inspections, and lubrication of plant equipment.* Maintain cleanliness and safety by performing general cleanup around the plant and equipment areas.* Complete additional miscellaneous duties as assigned to support plant operations.**What Are We Looking For*** High school diploma or GED required.* 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus.* Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment.* Prior experience operating mobile equipment (haul truck, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus.* Commitment to safety and quality standards.**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**What We Offer*** $29.92 per hour.* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension.* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
