The ideal candidate will have experience operating and setting up machine tools to manufacture precision components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in producing high-quality work, and want to be part of a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you.Temporary Assignment: Temp-to-Hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs.Day Shift - Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:30pmResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and other machining equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.Perform equipment adjustments and tool changes to maintain quality and productivity standards.Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary offsets or process adjustments.Maintain accurate production and quality records.Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to meet customer requirements and production schedules.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.QualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.3+ years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.Experience using precision measuring equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred QualificationsCNC machining and setup experience.Experience with tube fabrication, aerospace, medical device, or high-mix manufacturing environments.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods.Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.Ability to work safely around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.For candidates in California: The pay range for this position is $21.88 - $37.21 per hour. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
