A well-established tertiary academic community hospital in the Florida Panhandle is seeking a BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician to join a collaborative, hospital-based consult service. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy complex inpatient medicine while maintaining a highly desirable work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• 7 on / 7 off schedule true block scheduling for predictable time off
• Consult-only service no admissions, no primary service responsibilities
• Manageable volume of 8 10 consults per day
• 100% hospital-based no travel between facilities
• -day outpatient clinic weekly for discharge follow-ups only
• No chronic outpatient panel
• No outpatient call or responsibilities during off weeks
• Shared coverage model with community physicians

Qualifications

• MD or DO
