RIVERSIDE, California, 92507 United States Position Summary Join our Smart & Final store operations team to provide excellent customer service in a warehouse‑style grocery environment. The Part‑time Retail Associate assists with stocking, merchandising, cleaning, and customer assistance in a fast‑moving retail setting. Qualifications Read and write English; interact with general public and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs. Desired Skills Basic PC/Outlook skills. Retail Management Certificate. Key Responsibilities Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment). Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed. Set up advertising/promotional displays. Cleans and maintains sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot as directed. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers with store and product information. Assist customers loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
