Equipment Operator II

Equipment Operator IITwo (2) vacancies available for a 40 hours per week position. Under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled work requiring manual labor and operating heavy equipment. Work involves operating and maintaining heavy equipment. Reports to the assigned Foreman.Duties and responsibilities include operating a variety of heavy equipment, loading and unloading needed materials and supplies, performing maintenance in assigned areas, hauling equipment, maintaining assigned equipment and machinery, providing assistance with other crews, divisions, and departments, and preparing and processing various records and reports.Additional job functions may include assisting with hanging holiday decorations, moving furniture, providing assistance in setting up tents and temporary special events, and performing other related duties as required. Essential duty status position, will be required to report to work during emergency situations.Minimum qualifications require one to two years of experience operating heavy construction and maintenance equipment and performing related skilled work; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
