Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary and Responsibilities Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus!* To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible. Depending on your location, you may be eligible for up to $8,000 in relocation assistance! Day to Day Duties Circulate and/or Scrub on all cases. Primarily, GEN, Ortho (Totals /Sports Medicine/ Trauma), GYN, OB C-Sections, Urology, Podiatry, and Plastics. Service all age groups except neonates to two years. No dedicated Service line teams. All Associates are cross trained for all services. Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations. Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day’s cases. Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery. Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Education Associates Degree in Nursing (Nursing Diploma or by endorsement) required BSN, preferred Licensure RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required Nursing Specialty Certification, preferred Experience Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
