- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards to protect patient information. \n
- Participate actively in weekly team meetings to share insights, discuss patient progress, and enhance best practices across the organization. \n
Your primary focus will be on the geriatric population, addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns. This includes not only common disorders such as depression and anxiety but also more complex issues such as cognitive decline and adjustment disorders correlated with aging. Understanding the nuances of each patient's needs will be crucial in delivering the effective, compassionate care they require.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California. \n
- At least two years of relevant post-licensure experience working with elderly populations preferred. \n
- Strong knowledge and application of evidence-based treatment modalities in geriatric mental health care. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build relationships with elderly patients and their families. \n
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential for managing patient documentation efficiently. \n
Preferred candidates will possess hands-on experience in conducting individual and family therapy with older adults, preferably in a clinical outpatient or geriatric setting. Compensation and Benefits\nThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
