Valitana was awarded the 2026 Deal Catalyst CLO Award for Best CLO & Technology Provider – Innovation and serves approximately 100 institutional clients including CLO investors, CLO managers, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, family offices, and broker dealers.Position Overview Valitana is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to support day-to-day operations and internal IT needs while developing foundational skills in cloud and platform engineering. The individual in this role will help ensure operational stability and will enable senior engineers to focus on scalable platform improvements.ResponsibilitiesSupport new hire onboarding (device setup, access provisioning, Intune configuration)Handle IT and infrastructure support requests from internal teamsMonitor systems, alerts, and basic health checksAssist with security patching and vulnerability tracking/remediationSupport AWS operational tasks under guidance (resource reviews, basic automation)Maintain and improve documentation and runbooksTrack and manage work via Jira and internal systemsWhat Success Looks LikeTimely and reliable handling of onboarding and support requestsImproved visibility and tracking of operational workReduced backlog of security and maintenance tasksIncreased stability and consistency in day-to-day operationsGradual contribution to cloud and automation initiativesQualifications2–5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or cloud/infrastructure environmentsBasic understanding of security best practices (patching, vulnerability management)Experience with monitoring, logging, or observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or similar)Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs)Familiarity with Windows environments and endpoint management systems (e.g., Intune, MDM tools)Experience with or exposure to identity and access management conceptsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage tasks and communicate clearly using tools like Jira or similar systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsWillingness to learn and grow in cloud and platform engineeringAbility to prioritize and handle multiple requests in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative mindset and clear communication with both technical and non-technical teamsProactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting improvementsBase salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and an annual performance bonus. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday through Wednesday with the flexibility to work remotely Thursday and Friday.
