Director of Accounting, School of Dental Medicine The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is inviting applications for the position of Director of Accounting for its School of Dental Medicine. The role reports to the Associate Dean for Finance and Administration, CFO, and is responsible for the financial oversight of a $50million+ budget and $6million in clinical collections. Responsibilities Provide financial oversight and management of the school’s budget and collections. Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with university, state, and federal regulations, and support strategic financial planning. Provide direct oversight and guidance to the centralized business office and implement financial strategies in line with the CFO. Lead process improvement initiatives, streamlining billing, insurance claims processing, and collections workflows. Manage audits and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Clinical Business Services Manager to implement financial controls and improve efficiency. Take on supervisory responsibilities over time as processes are stabilized and optimized. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education/CHEA. Seven years of relevant experience. Three years of supervisory experience. Five years of management experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
