Project Overview
The client is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support two enterprise modernization initiatives: Data Center Modernization (DCM) Mac to Windows Transition The consultant will provide senior-level systems administration, infrastructure modernization, endpoint management, identity services support, and operational support throughout the engagement.
Primary Responsibilities- Support Data Center Modernization and Mac to Windows Transition projects.
- Administer Windows Server infrastructure.
- Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure services.
- Support Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, and endpoint management.
- Perform Windows imaging, workstation deployment, and device lifecycle management.
- Assist with server migrations, domain consolidation, and identity modernization.
- Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in testing, pilot deployments, production implementations, and troubleshooting.
- Provide Tier III systems administration support.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, stakeholders, and internal IT teams.
- Perform additional systems administration duties as needed.
