Medical Director Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing veterinary care for dogs and cats in Branford and is seeking an experienced Medical Director to join the team on a full-time basis. The hospital has served the local community for over 35 years, providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care while building lasting relationships with pets and their families.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will provide high-quality veterinary care across a comprehensive range of services, including wellness examinations and preventive care, immunizations and vaccinations, nutrition, dentistry, diagnostics, radiology, skin condition treatment, and veterinary surgery. The role provides the opportunity to deliver excellent medicine within an established hospital that places a strong emphasis on compassionate patient care and trusted client relationships. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a modern, well-equipped clinical environment supporting comprehensive veterinary medicine. Services include wellness examinations and preventive care, wellness plans, nutrition, immunizations and vaccines, video otoscopy, genetic testing, veterinary surgery, treatment of skin conditions, radiology, veterinary dentistry, in-house diagnostics, and pharmacy services. The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed Friday through Sunday.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so

Salary up to $150,000 (Annual)

• Base salary up to $150k + Production
