Seasonal Sidewalk Shovel Crew Member

Greg's Lawn and Landscaping
Candidates must be hardworking dependable honest and committed. This position is on-call based as you will be working dependent on the weather. Crews are usually made up of 2-4 people (refer your friends!) You will be using various pieces of equipment such as snow blowers salters and different types of shovels (lifting of 50 pounds may be necessary). Attention to detail is key as safety is our top priority. A valid drivers license is NOT needed however reliable transportation will be required to either get you to your designated shop or work site (keep in mind that buses do not run 24/7 and the majority of our work is done overnight while customer buildings are vacant). We do NOT provide any type of uniforms besides a safety vest. You are in charge of supplying your own boots jackets gloves etc. Training starts end of September and runs through November.
Gregs Services will be hosting in-person hiring events for the 2026-2027 winter season where we will answer questions related to the application and pre-employment paperwork please see dates below:
Wednesday October 7 2026 from 6:30am-8:30am
Wednesday October 14 2026 from 3:00pm-5:00pm
Wednesday October 21 2026 from 7:00am-9:00am
Wednesday October 28 2026 from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
