Job Description

As a Security Officer Gated Community Access Control in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Security Officer, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment within a residential community by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and assisting residents, guests, and vendors. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and respond to concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and communicate access-related concerns according to community policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain professional communication with residents, management, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
