Associate Attorney

Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per year. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter who can handle a full caseload, work independently, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. The role involves litigation, civil litigation, trial preparation, depositions, hearings, motions, pleadings, discovery, client communication, case management, drafting, legal writing, and research. Responsibilities Represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including court appearances, depositions, and mediations. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and related documents with professionalism and attention to detail. Prepare for and participate in trials, including management of exhibits and witnesses and preparation of arguments. Engage in effective client communication to keep them informed about case progress, legal issues, and potential strategies. Manage a full caseload, ensuring timely handling of all cases and maintaining high quality. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for clients. Continuously update knowledge and skills relevant to the legal profession and practice areas of the firm. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Five or more years of experience in a law firm or similar legal setting. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. Proven experience in litigation, civil litigation, trial preparation, depositions, hearings, motions, pleadings, and discovery. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong case management skills with the ability to handle a full caseload. Exceptional client communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely. Proficiency in using legal software for case management, research, and drafting. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
