Job Description

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them meet their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their loved ones on therapy methods to encourage continued progress in their home environment
• Track and Record Outcomes: Monitor patient improvement and modify treatment plans as necessary to remain aligned with their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for continuing education and post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (COTR) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification must be obtained
