The firm is seeking an experienced Tax Partner who can take on a significant leadership role within the practice and contribute to both client service and the continued growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted tax advisor to a diverse portfolio of individual and business clients.
• Oversee and review complex federal and state tax returns and related compliance matters.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to business owners, individuals, trusts and other clients.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and develop new business.
• Provide technical tax guidance and mentorship to tax professionals within the firm.
• Participate in firm-level strategy, business development and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with other partners and professionals across tax, audit, accounting and consulting.
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes, technology, service offerings and overall client experience.
• Take an active role in the continued growth and development of the firm's tax practice.

What We're Looking For

• CPA license required.
• Significant public accounting experience with a strong concentration in taxation.
• Demonstrated experience advising closely held businesses, business owners and/or high-net-worth individuals.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal taxation; state and local tax experience is a plus.
• Experience reviewing complex tax returns and providing tax planning and advisory services.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business and cultivate long-term client relationships.
• Leadership experience within a CPA/public accounting environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in ownership and building the future of a firm, rather than simply managing a book of business.
