As the Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the emergency department, including patient care, staff management, and budgetary considerations.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all operations of the emergency department, ensuring high-quality and efficient patient care.- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.- Hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff, providing feedback and support for professional development.- Monitor and manage department budget, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.- Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.- Stay current on advancements and changes in emergency medicine and implement best practices in the department.Qualifications:- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.- Strong leadership and communication skills.- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other computer systems.- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
