JUNIOR COMPLIANCE AUDITOR

As a Junior Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facets of program & state compliance within the assigned portfolio is maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews and returns initial rental application packets within 48 hours Reviews and returns all non-income qualified file corrections within 24 hours Reviews and returns all move in documentation by the 10th of every month Reviews and returns all Annual Recertification files whose income exceeds the current 60% income limit within 7 days Reviews and submits online reports as required by applicable state finance agency Ongoing review of primary utility allowances within assigned portfolio to ensure timely & accurate implementation Provides training and guidance to persons within assigned portfolio Preparation and submission of file audits as requested by lenders, syndicators, owners, and state & federal government agencies Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Compliance.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years working with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Computer literacy Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Accurate typing speed of 40 words per minute Working knowledge of YARDI Program training certification preferred, not required Skills High level of confidentiality Personal accountability Attention to detail, problem solving, critical thinking & analytical reasoning Ability to effectively communicate verbally, non-verbally and written Diplomatic, active listening and conflict resolution Teamwork and relationship building Adaptability and project management
