Building Automation Systems Technician - Princeton University

Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and laboratory environment sector, is seeking a Building Automation Systems Technician to join their team. As a Building Automation Systems Technician, you will be part of the technical support department supporting building management and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to system maintenance and troubleshooting, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Automation Systems Technician

Location: Pennington, NJ

What's the Job?

• Monitor and operate the Building Automation System (BAS) to ensure optimal performance

• Troubleshoot system alarms, faults, and irregularities efficiently

• Adjust systems and controls to maintain operational efficiency

• Run trends and generate detailed reports from BAS data

• Coordinate with technical staff to resolve system issues promptly

What's Needed?

• Experience working in a laboratory or regulated environment, such as a vivarium

• Familiarity with industrial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

• Proficiency with BACnet protocols and Siemens building automation hardware

• Niagara 4 (N4) certification is required

• Experience with Niagara platforms and troubleshooting BAS systems
