Junior Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer supports the design, development, testing, and improvement of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, prepare technical documentation, and assist in product and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems. Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings. Support engineering projects from concept through production. Conduct engineering calculations, analysis, and testing to validate designs. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to resolve engineering issues. Participate in prototype development, testing, and evaluation activities. Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and company specifications. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, reliability, and cost reduction. Maintain engineering records and revision-controlled documents. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field. 0-3 years of engineering experience (internships and co-op experience considered). Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar. Understanding of engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or mechanical simulation tools. Manufacturing or industrial engineering exposure. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience in product development and testing. Familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
