Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro Med Surg

This position is located in a 24-bed neuro medical-surgical unit. The unit operates with a dedicated team of professionals, comprising 31 staff members, including RNs, technicians, and health unit coordinators.

Staffing:

• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 technicians, 1 health unit coordinator
• Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 technicians

Patient Ratios: 6:1

Equipment: Sara Steady

EMR: Meditech

Floating Requirement: None

Must Have:

• BSN with current state license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred:

• Significant experience in stroke care
• More than 3 years of management experience

Typical Procedures

• Electroencephalograms (EEGs)
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Bladder scanning
