You will work alongside a collaborative group of colleagues who value team camaraderie and are fully prepared to provide mentorship and training for advanced bedside procedures to ensure your success within the practice.Join an established team of 5 physicians and 6APPsPractice setting: Closed ICUEmployed position within a nonprofit health systemBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine• Fellowship training in Critical Care or Pulmonary/Critical CareEligible for state medical licensure and DEA registrationDeliver comprehensive critical care through daily bedside rounds and total-system evaluations, ensuring every clinical, psycho-social, and ethical need of the patient is addressedPerform life-saving interventions and advanced bedside procedures, including complex catheter placements and airway management, to stabilize and support patients in their most vulnerable momentsAbout the Facility251-bed teaching hospital with closed ICUTrauma designation: Level IIIServing a population of approximately 738,000Integrated referral networkPart of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health systemWhy Physicians Choose AscensionPhysician-led, collaborative cultureLong-term practice stabilityNational network with local autonomyMission-centered care rooted in serviceWhat minimum qualifications you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date orjob transfer date required.• Advanced Life Support preferred.
