Parking Enforcement OfficerPay Rate: $18.00 per hourJob Type: Part-timeLocation: New Haven, CT (Yale University)Shift & Schedule: Mornings, Weekends & HolidayApplications will be accepted until job is closed.Propark Mobility is currently hiring a Parking Enforcement Officer for part-time opportunities to start immediately.What We're Looking For:Patrols an assigned area to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and other vehicles for parking violations in multiple locationsIssues citations for improper use of specifically designated, improper parking such as parking in crosswalks or other sidewalks, improperly parked motorcycles, parking in preferential areas, and related violations.Operate a license plate reading technology through touch screen interface.Supervise towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors.Checks the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and performs routine operator maintenance such as fueling the vehicleCompletes data required for citations including but not limited to violation type, time, date and location of offense, vehicle license plate number and/or vehicle identification number;Trash pickup at multiple locations"Boot" Vehicles that are in violation with a device called the BarnacleExercise proper judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with people.Provide the company's standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issuesMay be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists.Other special projects as assigned by location management.Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.What's In It For You?We promote from within - park your career here!Free Parking!Flexible scheduling; paid Holidays and Wellness.Free and confidential employee assistance program (EAP) that provides support and resources to employees and their families 24/7.
