Overview Registered Nurse, Med Surg Tele travel assignment – Zanesville, OH. Start date 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks, nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am), 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay: $1,679–$1,772. The role focuses on cardiac step-down and telemetry patients, including heart cath recovery and post-op open-heart care, in a high-acuity care setting using Epic EMR. Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $1,679–$1,772 Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am) Start date: 09/21/2026 Work setting: cardiac step-down Med Surg Tele with Epic EMR Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for adult patients on a cardiac step-down unit and telemetry Med Surg population. Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer IV medications and drips, and execute post-operative orders for open-heart patients; respond promptly to clinical changes. Collaborate with physicians, unit leadership, and case management; document care accurately in Epic EMR. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor vitals, labs, and imaging; assist with discharge planning as appropriate. Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; support the care team during fluctuating census; may float to other units as needed and, on rare occasions, care for ventilated patients.
