Senior Legal Director, Real Estate Ops

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the North America legal team supporting real estate, infrastructure, construction, and procurement
- Serve as senior legal advisor to Development, Procurement, and Operations teams
- Oversee and support the drafting and negotiation of construction and procurement agreements
- Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks
- Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate project execution
- Drive continuous improvement of templates and contracting processes
- Oversee engagement and management of outside counsel
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing in the state in which the position is located
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant legal experience
- Strong focus on real estate development and transactions
- Extensive experience in negotiating complex agreements
- Strong business and commercial judgment
- Proven leadership experience managing legal teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, international environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
