Specialty/Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - Upper / Central Manhattan, NY (Overlay)

AstraZeneca seeks a field-based Medical Science Liaison for its immunology portfolio, covering Virginia, Kentucky, and Washington DC. The role involves scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, identification of clinical investigators, and provision of evidence-based information on lupus and immunology compounds in development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals, researchers, and medical experts
- Identify and engage pre-clinical, clinical, and post-marketing study investigators
- Respond to customer inquiries with balanced clinical and scientific information
- Deliver data presentations and clinical support regionally and nationally
- Provide actionable information to internal collaborators on appropriate product use
Requirements
- Advanced clinical or science degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, or PA)
- Minimum 2 years experience as Medical Science Liaison or related therapeutic role
- Knowledge of customer segments and market dynamics in healthcare
- Demonstrated expertise communicating scientific content to diverse audiences
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel 50-70% and reside in assigned territory
Compensation: $160,396-$240,594 base salary, plus short-term incentive bonus and equity-based long-term incentive eligibility
