Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled respiratory therapist to join our team. This is a day shift position, requiring three twelve-hour shifts per week (totaling 36 hours), with no guarantee of hours. Candidates must hold an active State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license by the start of the assignment.Shift DetailsShift: Day Shift (0630-1900)Contract Length: 15 WeeksWork Schedule: Three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)Job ResponsibilitiesProvide continuous airway management.Manage and support ventilator and non-invasive ventilator care.Consult with physicians regarding patient care.Perform CPR and execute all aspects of respiratory care.Equipment UtilizedComputerized charting systemsPyxis medication managementPB 980 and PB 840 ventilatorsV60 ventilatorsPara Pac Transport VentilatorQualificationsMust have the ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.Minimum of 2 years of experience required.No first assignments accepted.Licenses and CertificationsRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferredNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferredState of Hawaii respiratory therapist license required (current license preferred, but application in process is acceptable)Additional InformationCandidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend the mandatory employee health appointment on Friday.
