Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves working in a dynamic surgical environment where candidates are expected to provide circulator support, patient advocacy, and assist with various orthopedic, neuro, and robotic procedures. All applicants are required to bring their Alaska RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Alaska RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), no minimum years of experience specified, location in Anchorage, Alaska, 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Three twelve-hour shifts, from 6:30AM to 7:00PM, with weekends if possible, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Experience as circulator, patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field, familiarity with orthopedic, neuro, and robotic procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience as Scrub RN, CNOR certification.
• Additional Information: Candidates will work in a unit with a variety of OR beds and equipment, EMR system is Epic, and the role involves assisting with procedures such as total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and Xi robotic cases. The position is a weekend position with call responsibilities, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift in an 8-week period.
