Position Title: RN Pulmonary Medicine Unit (PMU) This is a new unit. Part-time or Full-time: Full Time Shift times and shift length: 12hr shift Night 7p-7:30a Weekend Requirement: Yes, Rotating On-call Requirement: No Holiday Requirement: Any Travel Required (between more than 1 Location): no Desired Start Date: ASAP Shift Night differential: $4.50 Benefits: Medical, dental and vision 401K Tuition reimbursement PTO Fitness center membership Free employee parking Plus many other employee perks Sign on Bonus: no sign on bonus Covid Vaccine Requirement: General Duties: Our PMU deals with respiratory issues, COPD, Cystic Fibrosis, Acute or Chronic respiratory, Pneumonia possibly Job Description nurse to patient ratio on nights is a 1:4-5; hiring into the unit now and getting them started on orientation on our medical side to be up and running by the January start date. I would prefer someone with an IL license, however if the candidate was the right fit, I would be willing to wait. Required Qualifications: RNs with at LEAST 1+ years' experience, at an acute facility would be preferred. Tele or pulm exp would be an added bonus, but by no means a requirement. ADN and BSN within 5 years, BSN preferred Preferred Qualifications: License Required: IL Lic will consider without Certificates Required: BLS, ACLS within 6mths of hire
