Part Time Armed Courier Guard

Pay Range: $16.69 - $20.39 Hourly (Specific to OHI, DEL, NY, CA, CO, WA, MD, CT, IL, NV, KY, MI, NJ, ME, MO, MA, MT) Hourly Rate: $24.00 Job Summary The PT Air Courier Messenger is responsible for escorting customer cargo/liability from plane side to customer location and to/from the Brinks facility to customer locations while providing armed security. The role enforces rules to protect the premises, property, and personnel, ensures safety of customer and armored vehicles in transit, and provides outstanding customer service when delivering liability and assisting with shipping needs. Key Responsibilities Receive daily delivery routes and work closely with branch leadership on BGS and CIT side to ensure all paperwork and liability documentation is accurate before departure. Maintain a position on tarmac to monitor shipments being transferred on and off the aircraft. Provide secured delivery of all customer liability and ensure outstanding service during each transaction. Ensure liability is properly secured inside and outside the company vehicle. Assist the Sort Operation as needed in moving liability and other secured valuables between the facility and vehicles. Maintain and follow all DOT regulations, traffic regulations, and related guidelines. Enforce and report all security or safety violations to the Supervisor of Operations or Operations Manager and report unusual/suspicious situations during assignments. Provide security by adhering to General Security Regulations and directives from management. Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience as a courier or guard in a secured logistics environment. Minimum age 21 years. Valid driver’s license. Meet all Department of Transportation requirements. Valid weapons permit or ability to pass licensing requirements. Valid guard card or ability to obtain required license. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work weekends and flexible hours including holidays. Preferred Qualifications Experience in freight forwarding/logistics with secured armed environment. Experience working closely with customers and supporting dynamic customer service platform.
