# Personal BankerHot JobWest Fair - Lancaster, OH 43130## OverviewSalary Range$43,140.00 - $73,730.00 Hourly## DescriptionTo fully engage in office activities and decision making by being an active participant in the daily branch function through performing teller functions as required, opening deposit account and originating consumer loan requests. Personal Bankers are expected to make high quality referrals and cross-sells the bank’s products and services. Participates with branch management in maintaining a customer-focused environment and developing new ideas to increase business that will help achieve customer relationship objectives. This position includes 70% of time spent on sales and service, 20% on Operations, and 10% spent on Leadership activities. Personal Bankers are expected to recognize that in order to provide Service Excellence a customer’s experience should always be consistent whether they are online, using a mobile device, speaking to us over the phone or visiting us in person. In order to maintain this all Personal Bankers must consistently follow and model VCNB Service Standards. **PB is expected to demonstrate a mastery of all skills learned in the Associate Banker role, specifically in the areas of Teller, Deposit Accounts and Consumer Lending. Additionally a continued display of outstanding communication skills and unparalleled customer service is expected.**Operate effectively on the Retail floor, including the teller line, as well as with deposit and consumer loan functions. Able to perform all teller line duties, balances the branch and ATM, as needed.Opens all types of deposit accounts and handles account maintenance as required. Granting and servicing of secured and unsecured loans with emphasis on consumer customers, with the ability to effectively meet with applicants and underwrite the credit request.Opens home equity loans when authorized to do so, and makes quality referrals for HELOCs to the appropriate lender if not authorized Promotes the bank’s services and products and is responsible for cross selling and making high quality referrals when appropriate. Develop customer relationships through outside calling efforts and makes phone calls to generate sales leads and connect with customers. Serves existing customers in accordance with VCNB policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements. . Exercise independent judgment and discretion within job duties.
