Dishwasher

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Food Service Department. This role is responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and for helping maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Schedule Monday through Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Food Service Department. This role is responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and for helping maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishware, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including mixers, slicers, fryers, blenders, counters, dish racks, and dishwasher areas Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed Empty garbage and keep trash receptacles and surrounding areas clean Complete daily cleaning of kitchen equipment and food service areas, plus weekly deep-cleaning tasks (walls, ceilings, tables, appliances, and other surfaces) Assist in the dining room by clearing soiled dishes during meal service and returning them to the kitchen Assist with heavy lifting and general kitchen support as needed Follow all safety procedures and use required safety equipment Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Cook, Administrator, or Director on Duty Qualifications Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions Previous dishwashing, kitchen, restaurant, or institutional food service experience preferred Dependable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team Able to perform physically demanding cleaning and lifting tasks Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Must be able to stand for the full shift Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, pushing, stooping, and lifting required Exposure to kitchen heat, wet conditions, and cleaning chemicals Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a respectful and inclusive workplace for all employees. #J-18808-Ljbffr The W Group
