2nd Shift CNC Machinist | $23-26 an Hour + $2.00 Shift Differential!

Join a growing manufacturing team where your skills directly impact high-quality production. We’re looking for a dependable CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision work and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Includes shift differential + weekend opportunities

Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts based on blueprints and work instructions

• Make tool, offset, and machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

• Read and interpret prints, job routings, and specs with minimal supervision

• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision tools

• Monitor quality and identify any non-conforming parts or processes

• Complete production and quality documentation accurately

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S standards)

• Communicate with team members and leadership to keep production running smoothly

• Support continuous improvement efforts and learn multiple machines as needed

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of CNC machining or manufacturing experience

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings

• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills

• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Nice to Haves:

• Experience running multiple CNC machines or rotating between machines

• Familiarity with 5S or lean manufacturing environments

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced manufacturing facility working with metal or graphite materials

• Physical role – standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and occasional climbing

• Weekend availability required (typically 2 weekends per month)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
