Registered Nurse - Acute Care Transplant/Thoracic

Role Overview: This position involves providing specialized, direct patient care in an acute care setting, focusing on solid organ transplants, thoracic surgery, and hepatology. The nurse will utilize the nursing process, prioritize patient wellness, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver top-of-scope nursing care to high-acuity patients in specialty units Support and guide new healthcare staff through precepting and education Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care Participate in evidence-based practices and specialty certification standards Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program if less than 3 years of experience Active RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum 6 months of nursing experience Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to continuous learning Additional Details The role offers full-time hours with day and night rotation, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, educational support, and opportunities for loan forgiveness.
