Radiology - CT Tech

Travel CT Scan Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour nights, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The CT Technologist will perform a variety of essential imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety while delivering high-quality images.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans including CT of head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and assist with biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures and fluoroscopy.
• Ensure the availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas.
• Monitor and maintain quality control of imaging equipment.
• Assist physicians and radiologists with technical-level support during imaging procedures.
• Document procedures and maintain appropriate patient records as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist with at least 1 previous travel assignment successfully completed.
• Must be certified and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with Cerner and/or Change Healthcare PACS is preferred but not required.
