Travel RN – ICU/CCU (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit with patient ratios of 2:1, occasionally 3:1
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Assist with and support procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
• Float in rotation with core staffing as needed per unit floating policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking and self-motivated practice in a fast-paced critical care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU/CCU experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems
• Must meet travel nurse eligibility requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and specialty devices (Impella, IABP, Artic Sun)
• PALS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care setting
