Accounting Assistant

Job Full Description Looking for a skilled accounting assistant with experience maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting day-to-day financial operations. Responsibilities include entering financial transactions, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts and bank statements, tracking vendor records, and supporting job costing and financial tracking activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly. Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Journal entry experience is required, as this is a significant portion of the role.
Experience with account reconciliations, financial reporting support, audits, and month-end close processes is preferred. Additional qualifications include experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, improving accounting workflows and systems, and a willingness to pursue professional accounting certifications.
Evaluation Hire Position
M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
