Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform general maintenance and repair work across buildings, equipment, and facilities. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in multiple trades who can troubleshoot issues and complete a variety of repair tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work across the facility
• Complete carpentry, drywall, and basic repair tasks
• Assist with installation and repair of cabinets, doors, windows, and fixtures
• Support minor plumbing and mechanical repairs
• Perform basic painting and touch-up work
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Complete work orders and document completed tasks
• Support general upkeep, including light janitorial duties

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related trade
• Knowledge of basic building systems (carpentry, plumbing, etc.)
• Ability to use hand tools and basic equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills
