Crane Operator (Plant Division)

State Utility is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced crane operator to join our team. The successful candidate must be NCCCO certified and have the skills and knowledge necessary to operate 65‑ton through terrain telescoping hydraulic and 80‑150 ton crawler‑type lattice boom link belt cranes. Responsibilities Inspect the work site prior to setting up the crane daily Efficiently and safely hoist and transport materials such as machinery, equipment, concrete, and other construction products Monitor safety concerns, defects, or machinery malfunctions and perform daily and monthly inspections Receive and properly operate the crane based on hand signals Requirements Safe operation of cranes in the 65‑150 ton capacity range Ability to fly 3 cubic yard concrete buckets to workers on walls and elevated decked slabs Physical fitness to perform assigned duties effectively with good eyesight, dexterity, and balance Valid driver’s license Interest in operating and maintaining machinery and willingness to work in unpleasant and hazardous environments High school diploma or equivalent and crane operating experience, on‑the‑job training available for advancement If you meet these requirements and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your application today.
