Assistant Clinic Manager

Lifekind Health is seeking an Assistant Clinic Manager in our Riverside clinic to play a key supporting role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the healthcare clinic, directly impacting patient care quality and staff performance. Reporting to the Clinic Manager, this position helps oversee daily administrative and clinical functions, supports budget monitoring, and helps ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Act as a liaison between medical staff, patients, and external partners to foster a collaborative and patient-centered environment, and assist the Clinic Manager in implementing policies and procedures that enhance operational workflows and improve patient satisfaction. Ultimately, the Assistant Clinic Manager helps the clinic meet its strategic goals while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and compliant healthcare setting.

About the position:

• Support the Clinic Manager in overseeing daily clinic operations including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and quality of care
• Assist in managing and supporting clinical and administrative staff, including support with hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution
• Help monitor budgets and track expenses, flagging variances to the Clinic Manager to support the clinic's financial sustainability
• Help ensure day-to-day compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, including patient privacy and safety protocols
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and external agencies to support smooth service delivery and billing processes
• Support the implementation and rollout of clinic policies and procedures to improve operational effectiveness and patient experience
• Collect, review, and analyze clinic performance data, and develop recommended changes to address findings; the Clinic Manager retains primary responsibility for reporting results to senior management
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare management, clinic administration, or a related healthcare operations role
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and medical billing processes
• Demonstrated ability to support and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions preferred
• Familiarity with insurance contracting and reimbursement processes preferred
