Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) / Generalist
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) / Generalist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing while ensuring accurate, timely results that support high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Microbiology, and other assigned areas.
- Analyze, review, and verify test results for accuracy and completeness.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Adhere to laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and laboratory reports.
- Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare providers.
- This role includes regular weekend hours.
Qualifications
- Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist ( CLS ) License issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
- Working knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
