Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, consistent, and eager to grow in a collaborative environment. You’ll support the development of visual assets across digital and print platforms, while also managing production tasks such as submitting digital ads and coordinating print jobs.Prior experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus, especially if you’re familiar with regulated environments and understand the importance of clarity, accuracy, and compliance in visual communications.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, presentations, and internal communicationsMaintain consistency with brand guidelines across all design workOrganize and manage design files, templates, and assets for easy access and version controlPrepare and submit digital banner ads, including resizing and formatting as neededCoordinate print production: request quotes, prepare and send print-ready files, and ensure timely deliverySupport senior designers and the Creative Manager with production tasks and revisionsEnsure accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverablesPrioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred with a focus in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field; equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be consideredMinimum 2 years of strong portfolio showcasing design fundamentals (i.e. typography, layout, color) and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) requiredExcellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to work requiredStrong communication and time management abilities requiredA positive personality and willingness to learn and follow mentorship requiredPreferred SkillsFamiliarity with Figma or other collaborative design toolsExperience preparing files for print and working with vendors strongly preferredBasic understanding of digital ad specifications, limitations, and formats strongly preferredExperience with project management tools (e.g., Optimizely) is a plusComfortable using animation and video editing programs like Premier and After EffectsProduct photography and video productionInterest in contributing to company culture through ARGs (Associate Resource Groups) or similar initiativesWhat We ValueReliability: You follow through, meet deadlines, and take ownership of your workConsistency: You deliver high-quality work with precision and careAttention to Detail: You catch the small things that make a big differenceOrganization: You keep projects and files neat, accessible, and up to dateProactive Communication: You keep product managers informed, set clear expectations, and provide timely updates on project statusMultitasking with Composure: You can balance multiple projects without getting overwhelmed, staying focused and calm under pressureEngagement: You’re excited to be part of a team and contribute beyond your core roleAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
